The benefits are a lot more attractive on MY24 vehicles, which were not sold in CY24. Along with that, there are benefits on MY25 vehicles manufactured this calendar year as well. Let’s take a look.
Volkswagen Discounts Feb 2025
Currently, Volkswagen’s portfolio in India consists of Virtus sedan, Taigun SUV and Tiguan SUV. These vehicles have been popular among buyers looking for a premium vehicle with European flair and quality. In mass market, however, rival brands have been clocking significantly higher sales numbers.
Also, the company seems to have quite a bit of unsold MY24 inventory, manufactured in calendar year 2024. These MY24 vehicles are attracting handsome discounts in February 2025 of up to Rs 4.2 lakh, depending on model and availability. Alongside MY24 vehicles, Volkswagen is offering discounts of up to Rs 80K on MY25 vehicles as well.
Virtus Discounts – Up To Rs 1.7 Lakh
Among the popular C-segment SedansVolkswagen Virtus is bestowed with total benefits of Rs up to 1.7 lakh on MY24 Virtus. This is an increase from the Rs 1.5 lakh worth of benefits offered previously. These benefits are a culmination of flat cash discounts, scrappage bonuses and exchange bonuses and indicate a maximum ceiling of benefits that could be had.
For MY25 Volkswagen Virtus, the maximum ceiling for discounts is Rs 80,000, which is rather high considering this is just February. Prices for Volkswagen Virtus range between Rs 11.5 lakh and 19.39 lakh (both prices Ex-sh).
Taigun Discounts – Up To Rs 2.2 Lakh
Competing in the rather cut-throat C SUV segment, Volkswagen Taigun is trying to boost sales for MY25 vehicles and clear the unsold inventory of MY24 vehicles. Taigun’s benefits for MY24 version used to be Rs 2 lakh, which is now bumped up to Rs 2.2 lakh. Just like Virtus, Taigun MY24’s benefits indicate a maximum ceiling and actual benefits are lower than Rs 2.2 lakh.
For MY25 Taigun, Volkswagen is offering total benefits worth Rs 80,000, which is similar to that of Virtus sedan. Taigun pricing ranges between Rs 11.70 lakh and Rs 19.73 lakh lakh (both prices Ex-sh).
Tiguan Discounts – Up To Rs 4.2 Lakh
Being the flagship of company’s Indian portfolio, Volkswagen offers the most benefits. It is a CBU model and attracts hefty taxes and Ex-sh prices. The company is offering Rs 4.2 lakh worth of total benefits on MY24 Tiguan. The Ex-sh price of VW Tiguan is Rs 35.17 lakh and is offered in a sole variant.
