All Honda Cars Now E20-Compliant – Run on Ethanol Blend

Honda Cars India has received E20 (20 percent Ethanol blended) petrol compliance certification for all its existing models including the Amaze, City, City e:HEV and Elevate. The carmaker has also revealed that all its cars which were manufactured from 1st January 2009 are E20 compliant. Therefore, Honda customers can use the E20 petrol even in older Honda cars without any need of charging any part of the vehicle.

The Indian government has announced that E20 compliance will be mandatory for all combustion engines before 1st April, 2025. That means, all vehicles will be able to run on a fuel blend of 20 percent ethanol and 80 percent petrol.
