An expert in Awadhi cuisine, Ahmed will be bringing back centuries-old recipes passed down from her ancestors, prosperous merchants of medieval Yemen, and giving them her own hallmark contemporary twist.
‘Home Bound’ is the title of this unique pop-up, promising an indulgent journey through royal flavors, with an exquisite selection of Yemeni and Awadhi dishes, including fragrant mandi, spiced stews, kebabs, aromatic biryanis, and decadent curries. Each dish is carefully curated, prepared with the finest ingredients, and slow-cooked to perfection, staying true to the rich culinary traditions of the past.
Former MasterChef India contestant and owner of the hugely acclaimed Nawab’s Table, Chef Ahmed is known for her celebration of heritage through food. Her mastery over traditional dishes has earned her a dedicated following among gastronomy enthusiasts across the country.
