YSRCP party worker Jeeru Veerababu, 37, has been arrested by the Vijayawada police. The Vizag YCP member was arrested for making derogatory comments against Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan on Instagram.
He was arrested from his village in Bhimili mandal, Amanam panchayati, Jeerupeta. According to the police, Veerababu made objectionable comments on November 2 last year on Pawan Kalyan regarding the adulterated ghee incident in Tirumala.

Following his post on Insta, Vijayawada’s Suryapet booth convenor Bezawada Hanumantha Rao lodged a complaint with Governorpet police.
Based on this, the police conducted an enquiry, went to Bhimili and with the help of local police, they arrested Veerababu and brought him to Governorpet. He has been booked under BNS 353 and 356 and other cases.

Veerababu happens to be Bhimili MPP follower and was Jeerupeta Mandal Parishad primary school parents’ committee chairman.
Just yesterday, Jagan said he will work for party workers and fight against cases on them. But when party workers don’t maintain decorum, what can he do.
