Telangana: Two killed and one injured on Hyderabad-Ramagundam highway

The car which rammed a stationary truck at Pragyapur village in Siddipet district in the early hours of Friday.

Hyderabad: Two persons were killed and two others injured when their car rammed into a stationary truck at Pragyapur village in Siddipet district in the early hours of Friday, police said.

The car driver apparently failed to see the parked truck on the road and rammed into it, leading to two instantaneous deaths. The car passengers were on their way from Godavarikhani to Hyderabad, initial reports said.


The deceased persons were identified as Mushke Binesh (28), who works as a safety supervisor in NTPC, and Lingaiah (48), a painter by profession and resident of New Poratpally. The injured person was Merugu Mahesh, NTPC safety supervisor and resident of New Poratpally. The car was driven by  Pranay sagar of Goadavarikhani. The injured person shifted to the Gajwel hospital for treatment.
