The two-day students’ cultural carnival “Sanskriti 25” has attracted over 2,000 students from across the country.
Organised by the Music, Dance, and Fine Arts (MDF) Club and Student Activity Centre (SAC) of Kakatiya Institute of Technology & Science Warangal (KITSW), the event featured a wide range of cultural and innovative activities, including traditional beats, street art fair, live photography contest, and DJ shows.
Addressing the valedictory ceremony on Saturday, KITSW principal K. Ashoka Reddy emphasised the importance of holistic development in education. The carnival provided a platform to students to showcase their talents, build ethics and develop leadership qualities, he said.
According to chairperson of Sanskriti M. Srilatha, the carnival aimed to provide students with a rich experience of different traditions, cuisines, and lifestyles. Retired Judge and vice-president of Ekasila Education Society (EES) K. Devi Prasad stressed the importance of creativity and talent showcase in student development.
Former Rajya Sabha member and Chairman of KITSW V. Lakshmikantha Rao, and Treasurer P. Narayana Reddy, were present.
