Her parents, Vijay Singh and Tripta Wahi, both professors at Delhi University, sparked her love for learning. Starting her education at Springdales School in New Delhi, Atishi’s natural curiosity and ambition were supported, setting her up for future success.
Topping Delhi university
After finishing high school, Atishi decided to study History at St. Stephen’s College, University of Delhi. Her dedication paid off as she topped her class and earned recognition for her achievements. She also received the Sumitomo-St. Stephen’s Scholarship and the Rajpal Memorial Award for her involvement in college activities. The oxford experience

In 2003, she completed her first master’s degree on a Chevening Scholarship. But that wasn’t the end of her academic journey—two years later, she returned to Oxford for a second master’s degree in Educational Research, funded by the Rhodes Scholarship.
