Attended the launch of a new and huge Honda service centre in Bangalore

We also spoke with the Honda officials present at the launch, who indicated that more Honda big bikes will be launched in India.

BHPian Redline6800 recently shared this with other enthusiasts:

Was very happy to be at the launch of Silicon Honda’s massive new service centre right next to Madhu’s Wilson Garden tyre centre.

I appreciate Silicon Honda’s commitment to make such a large investment and I feel this bodes well for the launch of more Honda big bikes in India.

The new service centre has 10 workbays, of which six will be dedicated to 500cc + motorcycles and four for the CB350s, CB300s, etc.

Visiting this service centre will be much easier for me as compared to the previous Mysore road one.

My TransAlp next to an AT. I firmly believe that the AT is one of the world’s all-time great motorcycles, matching ease of handling, performance with outstanding reliability. The TransAlp on the other hand can probably do 80% of what the AT does at 60% of the price

There are some TransAlps readily available for delivery and from what I hear some discounts too The NX 500 is also now available.

We got to talk to the Honda officials present at the launch and they indicated more of their big bikes will be launched.

I deeply appreciate Honda’s commitment towards providing an excellent service experience for their big bike customers with reasonable service costs and affordable spares.

It is early days for my TransAlp ownership, I have very high expectations when it comes to service quality and thus far, I can only term my service experience as excellent.

Below is a pic of the engine oils used for service.
