Former Telangana party president, Karimnagar MP and Union Minister of State for Home Bandi Sanjay Kumar has accused the Congress Party and the Opposition BRS of doing “compromise politics” by having an “underhand deal” for the MLC elections to defeat BJP candidates.
“People are laughing at these parties’ predicament. The ruling party is unable to decide its candidates while the BRS does not have candidates to contest. The BRS wants to help the Congress after having a stuck a deal,” he alleged, on Sunday.
Addressing a press conference at Nalgonda during the campaign for MLC elections, Mr. Sanjay Kumar pointed out that the Congress leaders made various allegations against the BRS top leaders about various acts of omission and commission in Kaleshwaram lift irrigation project, phone tapping, e-formula racing, drugs, farmhouse etc., but nothing has happened ever since the party came to power.
“Why are they not talking about these cases anymore after the courts too have cleared the way? Not even notices were sent to the accused persons. It is nothing, but a compromise to get support for the MLC polls,” he observed.
Urban Naxals
The Union Minister accused the government of “destroying” the education sector, claiming that “urban Naxals” were under its control and that the Education Commission was filled with members who subscribe to “Naxal ideology.”
“There is a deliberate plan with the Commission chief even speaking against ‘Hindu culture’. The government should make it clear if they endorse the campaign for rule of the gun or rule of the pen. Education does not have a minister and funds are scarce,” he said.
Mr. Sanjay Kumar once again criticised the “bogus caste survey” where the BC population was deliberately reduced and a conspiracy hatched by “Revanth Reddy and the gang along with Owaisis” to include Muslims in BC. “It is injustice to Hindus in general and BC in particular. Muslims already get Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) category and minorities welfare,” he said and questioned the “silence” of BC organisations.
Ready for BJP govt.
Just like the people of Delhi, citizens of Telangana too are now ready to ring in a double-engine government where the BJP will be in power both in the State and the Centre for development and welfare sans corruption, asserted party leaders.
Telangana State president and Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy, Rajya Sabha MP K. Laxman and others told the media during the celebrations to mark the sweep of Delhi Assembly after a gap of nearly three decades that the people here are already “fed up” with the Congress government over its “dubious record of broken promises and guarantees”. Earlier, the leaders arrived at the office amid drum beats, slogan-shouting, bursting of crackers and distribution of sweets outside the office.
