Five Cabinet Ministers participated in a series of foundation stone-laying ceremonies in Atmakur constituency of Nellore district on Sunday.
Minister for Endowments Anam Ramanarayana Reddy, who is also the local legislator, was joined by his Cabinet colleagues Ponguru Narayana (Municipal Administration), S. Savitha (BC Welfare), N. Md. Farook (Minorities Welfare and Law & Justice) and B.C. Janardhan Reddy (Roads and Buildings), along with Nellore Member of Parliament Vemireddy Prabhakar Reddy, Zilla Parishad Chairperson Anam Arunamma and Wakf Board chairman Abdul Azeez in executing the scores of projects meant for the development of the constituency.
Mr. Ramanarayana Reddy said that his constituency was back on the development track, with many of his pet projects that were stalled or derailed during the five-year rule of the YSRCP government finally getting a green light.
Prominent among the facilities inaugurated were the renovated R&B guest house by Mr. Janardhan Reddy and a BC Gurukul School by Ms. Savitha.
District incharge Minister Mr. Farook laid the foundation stone for the construction of a Panchayat Raj guest house, at a cost of ₹1.70 crore.
Mr. Ramanarayana Reddy also performed bhumi puja for the construction of a ₹20-lakh Sri Sitaramaswamy temple at TIDCO housing colony.
Collector O. Anand and NUDA Chairman Kotamreddy Srinivasulu Reddy also took part.
