Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Disaster Response and Asset Protection Agency (HYDRAA) on Saturday demolished encroachments at Suram Cheruvu in Thukkuguda mandal of Ranga Reddy district.
A team of HYDRAA personnel along with the local Thukkuguda municipality staff demolished the precast boundary wall at Suram Cheruvu Full Tank Level (FTL).
HYDRAA Commissioner had visited Thukkuguda recently and inspected the lake. He said the Suram Cheruvu has now reduced to half its size.
