Hyderabad: The Hyderabad district Collector Anudeep Durishetty here on Monday ordered a magisterial enquiry into the death of a remand prisoner Vali Muqadar Ali, who died at Osmania General Hospital (OGH).
Ali died on March 28, 2024 while he was in judicial custody and lodged at Chanchalguda central prison. Anudeep Durishetty has appointed the Special Executive Magistrate, Hyderabad, to hold the enquiry into the incident.
“As such it is brought to the notice of the general public that any person, blood relatives of the deceased who is interested, who knows and witnessed the incident may depose their evidence before us at the office at Hyderabad Collectorate in Lakdi-Ka-Pul on February 21 between 11 am and 5 pm,” K Jyothi, Hyderabad Special Executive Magistrate.
