YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia, known as BeerBiceps on social media, is facing severe backlash for an inappropriate comment made on YouTuber Samay Raina’s show, India’s Got Latent. Despite issuing an apology for his offensive and derogatory remarkthe controversy continues to escalate. Singer B Praak, who was set to appear on Ranveer’s podcast, has now canceled his participation, strongly condemning the YouTuber’s comment and calling it “pathetic.”
Following the uproar, B Praak posted a video message on Instagram. In the clip, he said in Hindi, “I was supposed to appear on a podcast, on BeerBiceps, and we cancelled that. Why? Since we are all seeing how pathetic his thinking is. The choice of words that he has used on Samay Raina’s show.”
He added, “Ye Humara Indian Culture Nahi Hai. Ye Humara Culture Hi Nahi Hai. AP APNE Parents Ke Kaun Si Story Bata Rahe Ho? AP Unki Kaun Si Baatein Kar Rahe Ho? Ye Comedy Hain? This is not at all comedy. Logo ko gaaliyan dena, logon ko gaaliyan sikhana, ye kaun si generation… Mereko samajh hi nahi aa raha (This is not our Indian culture. What story are you telling about your parents? What are you even talking about them? Is this comedy? You are abusing people, teaching them how to abuse… I fail to understand this generation).”
B Praak also criticised Ranveer Allahbadia for promoting Sanatan Dharma and hosting renowned personalities on his podcast while allegedly holding such “shoddy” views. “Aur Yeh Ranveer Allahbadia, Aap Sanatan Dharma Ko Promote Karte Ho, Spirituality Ki Baat Karte Ho. Aapke podcast pe itne bad-bade log aate hain, itne bad? (You promote Sanatan Dharma and host so many influential people, still your thinking is so shoddy).” Expressing concern for the future generation and the impact of such content, B Praak urged content creators to be more responsible and avoid promoting such discussions.
Amid the controversy, an old video from a live session of comedian Tanmay Bhat has resurfaced and gone viral. In the clip, Tanmay is seen questioning Ranveer’s self-proclaimed spiritual detachment, calling him a “views-obsessed capitalist.” While Ranveer claims to be detached from outcomes and focused only on content creation, Tanmay calls him out, saying, “No one is more views obsessed than you. You only care about the outcome.”
During their conversation, Ranveer jokingly suggested that it was time to “shave head and eyebrows,” hinting at a spiritual renunciation. Tanmay responded, “Why do keep saying this b******* just accept it you are a capitalistic M******** who wants views. This spiritualism and all is b******.” Tanmay then pointed out how Ranveer launches a new business every week while he talks about spirituality in his Instagram posts. “Itna jhootha aadmi hai bhai ye baap re (He is such a big liar). Why are you lying?”
The controversy erupted when, during his appearance as a guest judge on India’s Got Latent, Ranveer posed an inappropriate question to a contestant: “Watch your parents have sex every day for the rest of your life. Or would you join in once and stop it forever?” His remark sparked outrage among netizens, who questioned his so-called “pure” image on social media.
