Last week, Flipkart revealed that Samsung will soon launch the Galaxy F06 5G in India and teased the price of the phone. Well, the e-commerce platform has now revealed the launch date, specifications, and colors of the upcoming phone, and it’s going to put a big smile on your face.
As you can see in the screenshots below, Samsung will launch the Galaxy F06 in India tomorrow (12 February 2025). We are expecting that the brand will either launch the phone by simply issuing a press release and a video or by holding a short launch event of the device on YouTube.
Galaxy F06 5G official specifications
As for the specifications, Flipkart reveals that the Galaxy F06 has a 6.5-inch display with HD+ resolution and 800 nits brightness. We assume that it is an LCD. The phone has two cameras at the rear, a 50MP main camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies, it has an 8MP camera.
As for processing power, the Galaxy F06 features MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC. It will be available with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. Although there’s no information on the OS, we expect the phone to ship with Android 14-based One UI 6.1.1. What’s impressive, however, is that Samsung will offer it four generations of OS upgrades and four years of security updates.
The Galaxy F06 has a 5,000mAh battery and supports charging up to 25W. There’s a side-mounted fingerprint scanner just like that on most affordable Samsung phones. As the name suggests, the device will support 5G. Samsung says that the Galaxy F06 5G will support 12 5G bands. It will be available in two colors: Bahama Blue and Lit Violet, and both have a unique back design.

Earlier, Flipkart had revealed that the price of the phone would be under INR 10,000. At that price, the Galaxy F06 will offer an excellent value for money. Considering that it is an F-series device, it will be available exclusively on Flipkart. That being said, the A-series version of the phone, the Galaxy A06 5G, which will be available more widely, is also arriving in India very soon.
