Naga chaitanya to remake anr’s ‘Tenali Ramakrishna’

Thandel is one of the super hit films in the recent times. Starring Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi in the lead roles, the film is directed by Chandoo Mondeti. Geetha Arts bankrolled the film. The makers held ‘Love Tsunami’ celebrations today, to mark the film’s success. The film’s cast and crew were present at the event, with Nagarjuna Akkineni as the chief guest.

Speaking at the event, director Chandoo Mondeti confirmed that Chaitanya will next be seen in a historical film. While complimenting the Telugu-diction of Sobhita, Chandoo hoped that it gets transferred to Chaitanya as well.

In this context, Chandoo confirmed that Naga Chaitanya will essay the role of Tenali Ramakrishna which ANR has done decades ago. “We will be rewriting the story of Tenali Ramakrishna, to suit the current audiences’ tastes and times. I am sure Chay will rock the role,” said Chandoo.

It comes as a big surprise that Chay is planning to do Tenali Ramakrishna. The team might remake ANR’s film and present it as per the latest times. As of now, more details of the film are not revealed. An official confirmation is awaited.
