Suzhal, a web series starring Aishwarya Rajesh and Kathir, written by Vikram Vedha’s famed Pushkar and Gayathri, was released in 2022 on the Amazon Prime OTT platform and ended up as a tremendous success.

Now, the second season of the series, Suzhal 2, also a crime thriller created by the same Pushkar and Gayathri, is all set to release on the Amazon Prime OTT platform on February 28.
While Suzhal was set against the backdrop of the Mayana Kollai festival in Sambaloor village, Suzhal 2 takes place during the Ashta Kaali festival. As per reports, Suzhal 2 will continue from where the first season ended.

The Suzhal series has a huge fan base across the nation, and many critics have also appreciated it as the best crime thriller series ever made in Tamil. Tamil industry has made many web series since then, but none could match the success of Suzhal.
