(Sant Ravidas Jayanti) On the occasion of Sant Ravidas Jayanti, Uttarakhand Government has declared a public holiday. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has instructed to run a special cleanliness campaign on the occasion. On this auspicious occasion, special cleanliness campaigns will be conducted across the state in memory of Sant Ravidas ji.

State Bureau, Dehradun. On the instructions of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, the government has declared a public holiday on the occasion of Sant Ravidas Jayanti. Except for the secretariat and treasury, there will be a holiday in all offices, institutions and educational institutions of the state government. The government had declared a terrible holiday on the first Ravidas Jayanti. Now it has been declared a public holiday.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has issued these orders. He tweeted and wrote, ‘On this auspicious occasion, special cleanliness campaigns will be conducted across the state in memory of Sant Ravidas ji. There is a humble request to the divine public to strengthen the message of cleanliness and goodwill by becoming a participant in this virtuous initiative.
