Kakinada: Twentytwo-year-old Ravuru Sairam, a student of Rangaraya Medical College in Kakinada, allegedly died by sucidie.
Sairam hanged himself to the ceiling in the RMC Boys Hostel after early on Tuesday morning.
Knowing about the extreme step, other boys in the hostel informed the police.
Soon the police rushed to the spot and shifted him to the local hospital where the doctors performed tests and declared him dead.
Police registered a case. Sairam was pursuing MBBS second year.
