Jitendra Kumar, Additional Chief Secretary of the General Administration Department, said that on 17 December 2024, a list of 2025 holidays was released, in which Sant Ravidas Jayanti was placed in the category of untreated holiday. By amending that order, now Sant Ravidas Jayanti has been declared a public holiday. All government offices and banks will remain closed on this day.
