Seven Hyderabad devotees returning from Maha Kumbh killed in Madhya Pradesh, two injured-Telangana Today

HYDERABAD: Seven devotees from Hyderabad returning from Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj died, while two others were injured in an accident on National Highway 30 near Sihora, in Madhya Pradresh.

According to information available, the pilgrims from Medchal Malkajgiri were part of a group that had gone for Maha Kumbh.


Their vehicle collided with a truck near Mohla-Bargi, around 9:15 am. Seven of them died while the local administration shifted the injured to hospital for emergency care.

Local authorities, including the Collector and Superintendent of Police, have arrived at the scene to oversee rescue and relief operations.

Emergency services are actively involved in assisting the injured and managing the situation. The exact cause of the collision is currently under investigation. Further details are awaited as officials continue their assessment.
