Although historical films have not been working in Bollywood for a long time, producers are not giving up so easily. Meanwhile, a film based on this genre, titled Kesari Veer, is scheduled to arrive soon and the teaser is out now.
The upcoming film also features Vivek Oberoi playing the antagonist alongside Suniel Shetty, Sooraj Pancholi and Akanksha Sharma also portraying important roles.

The film will be released worldwide by Panorama Movies on March 14, 2025, and it will bring another history chapter unknown to the public to live on the big screen.
The main premise will focus on the unsung heroes of Somnath, and it is being produced by Chauhan Studios. The film features Sooraj appearing as Veer Hamiraji Gohli whose duty was to protect the Gujarat-based Somnath Temple.

The teaser is undoubtedly powerful but unfortunately, it features certain sequences that resemble the scenes of other films. There is also a shot where an actress jumps with the waterfall appearing in the background and it looks similar to Baahubali.
A few scenes appear to be copied from the upcoming film, Chhaava. Meanwhile, Suniel Shetty’s look and outfit also have references to the lead character from Ranbir Kapoor’s film Shamshera. Then there is a war scene that has been taken from the climax of Akshay Kumar’s Kesari.

However, the one thing that leaves an impression is the intensity of the lead characters, specifically Vivek, who appears in the end. He looks intimidating and it seems like people have to wait for the film to witness more.
The film is arriving next month, which will be almost a month after the release of Chhaava. People don’t like to see such films frequently and they must arrive after a long break so that they can be so successful. In this case, the chances are very low.
While Suniel and Vivek still have a decent number of fans following, no one is interested in watching Sooraj Pancholi. Moreover, the lack of star power will seemingly contribute to its failure.
However, public opinion might change the film’s fate and people have to wait until the film’s release.
