The Vijayawada police arrested YSRCP leader and former MLA Vallabhaneni Vamsi on the early hours of Thursday (February 13, 2025), according to the police.
While arresting Mr. Vamsi, the police mentioned in a notice that, he was being arrested under sections 140 (1), 308, 351 (3), read with 3 (5) of BNS of Patamata police station in Vijayawada and also under section 3 (2), section 3 (1) of SC ST Act 2016.
The police arrested Mr. Vamsi in Hyderabad in early hours of Thursday and he is being shifted to Vijayawada.
He is one of the accused in TDP’s Gannavaram party office attack case. Earlier, the police arrested some accused persons in the same case and now he is arrested.
