Suryapet: Two labourers died on the spot and another eight injured when a marbles loaded lorry turned turtle on National Highway No. 65 near Kodad in the district.
The marbles loaded lorry was going to Mudigonda from Macherla, but met with an accident. In the incident, the marbles fell on the labourers, who were travelling by sitting on the marbles load.
The injured have been shifted to the government hospital at Kodad for treatment. Kodad police rushed to the spot and removed lorry and marbles fell on the road, after which the traffic on the route was resumed.
