3 MG Cars Launching Soon in India – Features, Price & More!

JSW MG Motor India is all set to launch three new cars including the M9 luxury electric MPV, Cyberster electric sportscar and Majestor SUV. All these models were showcased at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Show last month. While the Cyberster and M9 will be exclusively sold via MG Select premium dealership network from the next month, the Majestor is essentially the more premium variant of the updated Gloster due for the coming months. MG Cyberster

The MG Cyberster will be the most affordable sportscar in India. This electric car will feature a 77kWh battery pack paired with two oil-cooled motors mounted on each axle. This setup delivers a massive power of 510bhp and 725Nm of torque. The carmaker claims that the Cyberster offers a maximum range of 580km (CLTC cycle) and accelerates 0 to 100kmph in 3.2 seconds. Initially, it will be brought with AWD (all-wheel drive) layout only.

MG M9

Bookings for the upcoming MG M9 have already been commenced nationwide. This luxury electric MPV is already on sale in global markets as Mifa 9. Its powertrain setup includes a 90kWh lithium battery pack and a front-axle mounted electric motor, pushing out a maximum power of 245bhp and 350Nm of torque. It offers a claimed WLTP range of 430km. The MG M9 measures 5.2 metres in length and carries MPV-ish boxy stance with an upright nose and a large glass house. This MPV will be available in 7 and 8-seats configurations.

The MG Majestor is based on the facelifted Gloster, but features slightly different design elements. Visually, it appears more rugged and muscular than the Gloster. Upfront it carries a large blacked-out grille with horizontal slats, larger MG logo, split headlamp setup and, slim LED DRLs. The black cladding running its length-wise, 5-spoke, 19-inch alloy wheels, chrome finished running board and blacked out elements on the door handles, wing mirrors and top-half enhance its side profile. At the back, the SUV sports dual exhaust pipes, wraparound connected taillamps and a sporty skid plate. The new Majestor is likely to come with the Gloster’s 216bhp, 2.0L twin-turbo diesel engine, paired to an 8-speed automatic gearbox.
