Hyderabad: As cybercriminals continue to evolve, posing new challenges for citizens, industries, and govt agencies, the Telangana Cyber Security Bureau (TGCSB) is set to address these pressing concerns at its upcoming two-day conclave, SHIELD. The event will focus on the impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on cybersecurity and explore strategies to strengthen digital safety.
The conclave, scheduled for Feb 18 and 19 at HICC, will cover key areas such as enhancing industry cybersecurity, ensuring a safer digital space for women and children, and exclusive discussions among security officials on improving the state’s cyber infrastructure. So far, 900 participants have registered, and TGCSB officials are encouraging more registrations. However, entry will be by invitation only.
Telangana chief minister A Revanth Reddy and IT minister D Sridhar Babu will inaugurate the event. Keynote speakers include Indian Cybercrime Coordination Center (I4C) CEO Rajesh Kumar, founder of Just Rights for Children Bhuwan Ribhu and former TRAI chairman RS Sharma. The conclave is expected to benefit students, academicians, corporate professionals, and govt officials.
Discussions will cover a range of crucial topics, including AI, blockchain, digital forensics, ransomware, cryptocurrency, deepfakes, misinformation on social media, AI-driven solutions for cybercrime, cyber resilience for MSMEs, nation-state threats, industry resilience, and online safety for women and children. These themes will be explored through speeches, panel discussions, and workshops.
