Vijayawada: Three jute bags stuffed with dismembered body parts of a man was recovered near Nakkalagandi canal on the outskirts of Cumbum town. Following examination, the body was identified to be of a 36-year-old lorry driver named Kadem Shyam Prasad. According to Cumbum inspector K Mallikarjun, the incident came to light after VRO Kasinaboina Purushottam received information about suspicious jute bags near the canal. Upon inspection, he noticed bloodstains on the bags. On opening one bag with a stick, he found a severed head inside. The other two bags contained the remaining body parts.TNN
