Managing Director of Hyderabad Metro Rail (HMR) Ltd N.V.S. Reddy said the Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) for the upcoming metro corridors on Medchal, Shamirpet and Future City routes will be ready by March and submitted to Government of India after the approval of the State government.
Mr. Reddy revealed this in the Green Crusaders programme held as a part of the Indian Green Building Council (IGBC) ‘Green Telangana’ Summit 2025 in Hyderabad on Saturday. He also handed over registration certificates to IGBC Green Crusaders to various organisations that have registered as Green Crusaders with IGBC intending to make various projects in Hyderabad green.
Mr. Reddy said that the new metro routes will change the face of Hyderabad and necessary work was going on in full swing in tune with the Chief Minister’s vision of running a metro rail in all directions of Hyderabad. Through this development, Hyderabad will become a green city with high standards of living, he said.
IGBC National Vice Chairman C. Sekhar Reddy, Hyderabad Chairman G. Srinivasa Murthy and CREDAI Hyderabad Chapter Chairman V. Rajasekhar Reddy were among present.
