Users of Prime Video India are frustrated with the rental policy of the platform and they are comparing their experience on Prime with Netflix and the emerging Jio Hotstar.
People think that after giving such a huge amount of time for the subscription fees every year, it makes no sense that they still have to pay for the rent for most of the licensed movies. Even movies that are about to stream freely on Prime are initially put through a brief period on rent.

The device removal limit has already enraged people. Users cannot remove more than two devices from the subscription in one month and it is driving them crazy.
Netizens say that Prime Video cannot compete with the smooth streaming experience of Netflix or Jio Hotstar. Netflix does not burden subscribers with loads of rentals and people hope that the JioCinema and Disney+Hotstar merger will also prove to be better than Prime.

If this continues to happen, Prime Video will lose its good will that it has built up for such a long time with wonderful content. The platform has to make users feel that every penny they spend for the subscription is worth it. And to do that, the first step will be to cut the rentals down.
