Mahindra & Mahindra commenced bookings for the BE 6 and XEV 9e electric SUVs on 14th February nationwide. Within first day of the opening, both models gathered a total of 30,179 orders, setting a new record in the EV segment. The XEV 9e received 56 percent pre-bookings of the total orders, while the remaining 44 percent were for the BE6. The top-end Pack Three variant, exclusively available with the bigger 79kWh battery pack, is in high demand accounting for 73 percent of total bookings.
Delivery Timeline:
The carmaker has already confirmed that deliveries of the Pack Three variant will begin in mid-March, while the Pack Three Select and Pack Two will be handed over to their respective buyers in June and July, respectively. Deliveries of the Pack One Above, and Pack One will start in August.

Prices Explained:
The Mahindra BE 6 Pack One, Pack One Above, Pack Two and Pack Three Select, which are offered with the smaller 59kWh battery pack, priced at Rs 18.90 lakh, Rs 20.50 lakh, Rs 21.90 lakh and Rs 24.50 lakh, respectively. The top-end Pack Three with the 79kWh battery pack is available at Rs 26.90 lakh.
The Mahindra XEV 9e Pack One, Pack Two and Pack Three Select with the 59kWh battery cost Rs 21.90 lakh, Rs 24.90 lakh and Rs 27.90 lakh, respectively. The Pack Three variant with the 79kWh battery pack comes with a price tag of Rs 30.40 lakh. All mentioned prices are ex-showroom.

Range & Batteries:
The Mahindra BE 6 with 59kWh and 79kWh batteries delivers an ARAI-claimed range of 556km and 682km, respectively. The XEV 9e with the same battery setup offers 542km and 656km, respectively.
Charger Prices:
Mahindra is providing a 7.2kW AC charger at Rs 50,000 and an 11.2kW AC charger at Rs 75,000 along with additional installation chargers. These prices will be added to the total cost of the EV at the time of their delivery.
