Vijayawada: Amidst rising cases of fraudulent recruitment scams, the Vijayawada division of South Central Railway urged job aspirants to be vigilant of fake job scams promising employment in reputed govt agencies, including Indian Railways. Recently, a woman was duped of 9 lakh by a group under the pretext of securing a job in Vijayawada railway division. The authorities clarified that recruitments in the Indian Railways are conducted strictly through a transparent process via the Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) and Railway Recruitment Cells (RRCs) and that there is no provision for middlemen or agents in the hiring process.TNN
