Inter hall tickets to have QR code for exam centre’s location

Hyderabad: The Telangana board of Intermediate will include QR code of the examination centre on the hall tickets in order to save students from last minute confusion and tension, especially on the first day of the exam.

Students can scan the QR code through their smartphone and view the route map and estimated time to reach their respective exam centres. This will help students as many junior colleges have similar names despite having different centre codes, which often leads to confusion.

Additionally, hall tickets will now display the full address of the exam centre without any word limits. Hall tickets will also have important contact numbers, such as Interactive Voice Response (IVR) number, centre college number, district officer’s number and the state helpline number.

In all, 4,88,336 first year students and 5,07,956 second year students have registered for the 2025 exams.

Controller of exams B. Jayaprada Bai said “Hall tickets will first be sent to respective colleges for any necessary corrections, while 10 days before the exams, students can download them.”

She also directed the district Intermediate education officers and nodal officers to conduct practical examinations for absentees, who are willing to write. Exams will be conducted from February 18 to February 22.
