Hyderabad: Telangana police emerged as the overall champions at the 68th All India Police Duty Meet held in Ranchi, Jharkhand. The state police secured as many as 18 medals in various categories in the meet, which was held from Jan 10 to 15.
“The participants brought home 6 gold, 4 silver and 8 bronze medals, showcasing their expertise in scientific aids to investigation, anti-sabotage checks, computer awareness, dog squad competition and overall team championship,” the DGP’s office said.
Upon learning about this, chief minister A Revanth Reddy congratulated the policemen who participated in the competition. Among the 18 policemen who won medals were constables, sub-inspectors and inspectors.
