Roads and Buildings Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy said that tenders have been invited for works on the northern part of Regional Ring Road (RRR), and for detailed project report (DPR) on the southern part, where work is expected to begin soon.
Mr. Reddy criticised former Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao for “delaying RRR work worth ₹30,000 crore and selling Outer Ring Road (ORR) for commission” before Assembly election 2023.
He said that radial roads being constructed along RRR and ORR would transform Telangana and provide a comprehensive solution to Hyderabad’s traffic problem. He announced that work on the Srisailam Left Bank Canal would be completed within two years.
Mr. Reddy advised citizens to participate in the ongoing survey, and expressed his gratitude to people of Nalgonda constituency for electing him as an MLA five times. He reaffirmed his commitment to fulfilling all the promises made to people.
He reassured the people of his constituency that he would continue to address their grievances through Praja Vani, despite his busy schedule. While interacting with people at such a programme at his camp office in Srinagar Colony, Nalgonda, on Sunday, the Minister acknowledged that Praja Vani had been delayed due to his state-wide responsibilities and election code.
