Visakhapatnam Steel Plant emerged victorious in the Inter-Steel Plants Cricket Tournament, defeating Salem Steel Plant by five wickets in the final match held in Bokaro. Batting first, Salem Steel Plant posted 128 runs for nine wickets in the allotted 20 overs. In response, Visakhapatnam Steel Plant successfully chased the target, scoring 129 runs in just 16 overs with five wickets in hand.
