NEW DELHI: The BCCI on Sunday announced the complete Indian Premier League 2025 schedule and last year’s finalists Sunrisers Hyderabad will begin their campaign against Rajasthan Royals at Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium on March 23.
The tournament schedule shows SRH will play double-header matches against Lucknow Super Giants, Delhi Capitals, defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders, Gujarat Titans, and Mumbai Indians in the league stage.
SRH, under Pat Cummins’s leadership, were the runners-up in 2024 after losing to Kolkata Knight Riders in the final by eight wickets.
The league phase will feature 70 matches, with each team playing 14 games.
The playoffs are scheduled from May 20 to May 25.
Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium will host Qualifier 1 and the Eliminator on May 20 and 21.
The tournament will conclude at Kolkata’s Eden Gardens, which will host both Qualifier 2 and the final on May 25.
