Nizamabad: Four government teachers were penalised for unauthorised absences during an inspection by district education officer Parsi Ashok on February 6 at Government Primary School in Phulong, Nizamabad. School assistant Bharathi and secondary teachers Padmavathi, Vijayashanthi, and Karunasri were absent during the DEO’s visit. Ashok issued show-cause notices and deducted one day’s salary from each teacher as disciplinary action.
In a separate case from Indalwai mandal, Tirumanpally Mandal Parishad Primary School LFL headmaster Srinivas was absent without authorisation from December 13 to 16. Following a complaint by the Yellareddypally complex headmaster, the DEO deducted three days’ salary from Srinivas.
