Mumbai: The bell rings again as the teenage drama, School Friends returns for an all-new season, which is set to premiere on February 21, exclusively on Amazon MX Player, Amazon’s free video streaming service. The streaming service today unveiled the trailer of the third season, giving a sneak peek into the drama, the fun, and the emotional rollercoaster that awaits. Produced by Rusk Studios, School Friends brings back the beloved cast, including Navika Kotia, Aaditya Gupta, Ansh Pandey, Manav Soneji, and Alisha Parveen, alongside an exciting new addition of Ashnoor Kaur.
The trailer introduces us to a world where academic pressures take centre stage as the final year begins, but the real test lies in their friendships. Just when Anirban and Stuti think they have it all figured out, the arrival of Yashika shakes things up in ways no one saw coming. With Mukund, Raman, and Dimple dealing with academic pressure, friendships will be tested amidst the chaos of teenage life and the friends will learn that growing up isn’t just about grades, it’s about the choices they make. With new connections forming and old bonds being questioned, will they make it through their final year together?
Navika Kotia, who reprises her role as Stuti, shared, “Season 3 is a huge emotional leap for Stuti. There’s so much growth, but also so many tough decisions to make. Her relationship with Anirban is challenged, and she’s forced to rethink everything—this season is going to leave the audience on the edge of their seats!”
Reflecting on the changing dynamics of this season, Aaditya Gupta, who essays the role of Anirban, expressed, “This season is about how Anirban navigates the chaos around him. With all the pressure from school, his evolving relationship with Stuti, and then Yashika making her entrance—it’s like everything is happening at once! It’s going to challenge Anirban in ways he never expected.”
