Aprilia Tuono 457 is the latest offering from the Italian two-wheeler manufacturer in India. This streetfighter motorcycle has been priced at Rs 3.95 lakh (ex-showroom). Interested buyers can pre-book the vehicle by paying a sum of Rs 10,000. Test rides and deliveries of the bike are slated to begin from the first week of March 2025. This new Aprilia bike competes with the sub-500cc streetfighters including the Yamaha MT-03 and KTM 390 Duke.
Aprilia Tuono 457 Engine:
Starting with its engine. The new Aprilia bike uses a 457cc, parallel-twin cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that also powers the RS 457. This motor pushes out a maximum power of 47.6PS at 9,400rpm and 43.5Nm of torque at 6,700rpm. However, it’s claimed to offer better throttle response at lower rpms as the rear sprocket size is bigger by one tooth at 44 teeth. The streetfighter has a 6-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch.

The suspension setup of the new Aprilia bike consists of an inverted fork and monoshock pre-load adjustable unit. Braking power comes from a 320mm front and a 230mm rear disc brakes, further assisted by the dual-channel ABS (anti-lock braking system). The Tuono 457 has been equipped with a 110-section front and a 150-section rear tyre. The bike has a kerb weight of 175kg and offers a seat height of 800mm.

With this new Aprilia bike, you get three riding modes – Eco, Sport and Rain. On the feature front, it offers a 5-inch TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity, call and SMS alerts and turn-by-turn navigation. The Tuono 457 also comes with all LED lighting system, switchable traction control and the optional directional quickshifter.
Aprilia Tuono 457 Colors & Design:
Aprilia is offering the Tuono 457 in two colour options – Puma Grey and Piranha Red. Compared to the RS 457, this streetfighter provides more relaxed riding position with slightly forward set footpegs and a single-piece handlebar nearer to the rider.
