CM bluffing on caste survey figures: Eatala

Hyderabad: BJP MP and former minister Eatala Rajendar has questioned how the BC population could decrease when the state’s overall population increased, calling it (caste survey) a fraudulent manipulation of figures.
Speaking to the media in Khammam on Tuesday, the Malkajgiri MP pointed out that the state’s population, which was 3.61 crore in 2011, must have exceeded 4 crore, and questioned whether the BC population could still be 46% in such a scenario.
He demanded that if the Congress govt had integrity and sincerity, it should establish a commission and conduct a scientific caste census. He noted that Tamil Nadu formed a legal committee to do this, and Bihar did the same.
The BJP leader emphasized that the “caste census is an undeniable truth and cannot be stopped, and no caste should be overlooked”. Slamming A Revanth Reddy, he said the CM lacks honesty regarding the caste census and BC reservations and accused him of bluffing and deceiving with false figures.
He remarked that “the state govt is not a drama company” and that promises on reservations and caste census should not be broken. He added that people trust that Prime Minister Modi would implement what he promises.
