
Vicky Kaushal’s Chhaava has been unexpectedly doing well at the box office and it is expected to add another blockbuster to the actor’s filmography after Uri: The Surgical Strike.
However, there are a lot of people who might not be able to visit the big screen for some reason and they are eagerly waiting for Chhaava’s arrival on an OTT platform. Notably, the OTT rights have been purchased by Netflix at an undisclosed price.

But it seems like the film might not reach out to everyone around the country since it is expected to receive a direct release in Hindi and won’t be dubbed into other languages. Even if it is dubbed, the quality won’t be up to the mark.
While Chhaava was expected to receive a positive response only from the audiences of Maharashtra, it has left an amazing impression on the audiences of other cities around India.

Considering that Chhaava might not be dubbed into other languages, there is a possibility that fan-dubbed versions might get released on YouTube. This has been a common trend for South films over the last few years, where the dubbing responsibility is not taken by the producers of those films.
Following the positive response towards Chhaava, there has been a demand from a section of the public to make the film accessible by giving it a pan-India release.

While the makers have not addressed anything about this so far, they might decide to dub the film at the time of the OTT release.
All of these are speculations for now and it remains to be seen if a streaming platform is willing to take any responsibility for dubbing when the producers are not ready to do the same.
