Hyderabad dugs bengaluru pedlar – Bengaluru woman caught in Hyderabad with drugs worth Rs 6 lakh, supplier on run

In a major anti-drug operation, the Telangana State Anti-Narcotics Bureau (TGNAB) and Cyberabad police arrested a Bengaluru-based woman drug peddler in Hyderabad. The accused, identified as 24-year-old Shatabdi Manna, was caught in possession of 60 grams of Methylenedioxymethamphetamine (MDMA) worth Rs 6 lakh.

According to officials, Manna had been supplying drugs from Bengaluru and was apprehended while delivering the contraband in Miyapur. The police also seized a mobile phone from her. The primary supplier, identified as Warren Kokarango, an African national, is currently absconding. The police are tracing Kokarango.

Investigations revealed that Manna, a graduate from Bengaluru, came in contact with Kokarango during her studies and got involved in drug peddling due to financial difficulties. The operation was conducted under the supervision of Madhapur DCP Vineeth and TGNAB Superintendent of Police P Sai Chaitanya.

“Our intention is clear, whoever is peddling drugs, no matter from which state, we will apprehend them,” said Chaitanya.

Vineeth disclosed that the accused stored drugs smuggled from various places in her room, and sold them in smaller quantities at parties or after parties.
