Hyderabad: A man from Andhra Pradesh who came to the city to celebrate his birthday with friends, accidentally drowned in a lake at Yadgarpalli in Keesara on the city outskirts on Thursday.
K Suryadev, who worked for a medical agency, came to celebrate his birthday with his friends and stayed at his friends’ room in Gachibowli.
On the occasion of his birthday on Thursday, they went to the Gandi Cheruvu in Yadgarpalli and while his friends stayed outside, Suryadev went into the water. As he did not know swimming, he drowned. His friends tried to rescue him, but in vain.
The Keesara police reached the spot and with the help of expert swimmers, retrieved Suryadev’s body.
