M340i 30k kms:
The car is doing great! Last weekend, thanks to bhpians Reesnat and Speedrider75, we had an absolute blast at COASTT Track, Coimbatore.
We had 12 cars in total—4 G87 M2s, 1 F87 M2, and the rest were M340is. It was my first time at this relatively new anti-clockwise track, and while the run-off areas and kerbs are still a work in progress, the track itself is fast, wide, and a joy to drive.
Lap Times:
M2S: 1: 50-1: 55
M340IS: 2: 01-2: 06
Since there were no standard transponders, we used Racebox, Dragy, Track Addict, and other apps to track lap times.
We even had a drift session on a watered section of the track.
A lot of tyres were sacrificed, but thankfully, Bhpian Nikhil2008 (Madhu’s Bangalore) set up a tyre changing and balancing service right at the track, which was a lifesaver! Huge thanks to him.
