Aruna meets CM over dev issues of Mahabubnagar


Hyderabad: BJP vice-president and Mahbubnagar MP D.K. Aruna met Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy at his residence on Friday and submitted a representation highlighting over 20 issues of her parliamentary constituency and sought government attention to these issues.

Among the key issues, she sought the deployment of staff for the full-fledged functioning of the newly allotted medical college in Narayanpet. She also requested the establishment of a women’s degree college, a PG college, an ITI, a polytechnic college in Narayanpet and a polytechnic college in Makhtal. Additionally, she called for the relocation of the newly sanctioned Navodaya Vidyalaya from Gandeed mandal in the Parigi Assembly segment to Mahbubnagar district and the construction of a new building for a Gurukul School.

Aruna urged the government to declare Kotakonda in Narayanpet district and Garlapahad in Mahbubnagar district as mandals. She also sought sanctioning a police station in Bhuneed of Narayanpet district, funds to improve the drainage system in Narayanpet town and repairs for old borewells to address the ongoing water crisis.

Additionally, she requested the government to expedite the operationalisation of the newly sanctioned textile and industrial park in Narayanpet.

Other demands of the MP included sanctioning a new government guest house and the construction of a new collector office building for the Narayanpet district. She also pressed for the release of pending dues for retired teachers and other government employees.

In addition to these requests, Aruna urged the Chief Minister to recommend the inclusion of Sri Kurumurthy temple, Manyamkonda temple, Beechupally Sri Anjaneya Swamy temple, Maldakal Thimmappa temple and Sirsanagandla Sri Seetaramalayam under the PRASHAD scheme (Pilgrimage Rejuvenation and Spiritual Augmentation Drive) to promote religious tourism and infrastructure development.
