Kamareddy: In a tragic incident, a father died due to heart attack after performing Kanya Danam in his daughter’s wedding in Kamareddy district on Friday. The incident occurred at Indraprastha gardens near BTS in Jangampally village in Bhiknoor mandal of Kamareddy district.
Kudikyala Balachandram, 56 of Rameshwarpally village in Bhiknoor mandal conducted the marriage of his elder daughter Kanaka Mahalaxmi on Friday. The marriage was conducted with Raghavendra of Bengaluru in a private function hall. After performing Kanya Danam, ritual, Balachandram has suffered from heart stroke and fall ill.
The family members and relatives immediately shifted him to a private hospital in Kamareddy. The doctors declared that Balachandram was brought dead due to heart attack. The family members of Kudikyala Balachandram continued the remaining process of the marriage and completed it.
Balachandram is native of Rameshwarpally and was settled in Kamareddy town. He is survived by wife Rajamani and two daughters. Death of father within minutes of daughter’s wedding spreads sorrow in the function hall. The family members and relatives left the marriage with heavy hearts. The incident went viral on social media.
