IndiGO Airlines will begin operating new flights from Hyderabad to Medinah, according to a Friday announcement from GMR Hyderabad International Airport Ltd.\ (GHIAL). Senior GHIAL officials were present as the first flight took off with great pomp and joy.
The flight duration of the new service is around five hours and forty-seven minutes, and it will run three times a week on Monday, Thursday, and Saturday.
Pradeep Panicker, CEO, GMR Hyderabad International Airport Ltd, said, “This new route not only broadens our international network but also provides our passengers with a unique travel experience connecting Hyderabad with one of the most visited religious cities in the world.”
The new global hub in Hyderabad has increased travel possibilities for passengers from South and Southeast Asia, providing more connection to locations around the Middle East.
Currently, IndiGo offers over 100 weekly flights from several Indian cities to four Saudi Arabia locations: Riyadh, Dammam, Jeddah, and Madinah.
