Dhanashree Verma and Yuzvendra Chahal are reportedly finalising their divorce. They have been summoned to the family court in Bandra, Mumbai.

It all began in 2022, when Dhanashree Verma dropped cricketer-husband Yuzvendra Chahal’s surname from her Instagram handle. Several speculations about their separation followed. The duo never, for once, publicly acknowledged any rumour surrounding their marriage. Whenever they wanted to spread a message, they would post cryptic posts and captions on social media. That’s it.
However, this year, the rumours grew stronger than ever. Reports suggest that the couple has finalised their divorce. Reportedly, they appeared before a Mumbai court on Thursday, February 20 and finalised their separation.
Amid all this, several throwback videos and interviews of Yuzvendra and Dhanashree are going viral. One of them being their wedding video.
Yuzvendra started off the video by playfully saying, “Shaadi ke baad sabki life hai risky, kithe gayi meri whiskey (Everyone’s life gets risky after wedding, where’s my whiskey)?” Dhanashree, on the other hand, narrated their love story in the viral clip. “We met through dancing. Yuzi came up to me and said, ‘Hey I want to learn dancing’,” she said. Watch it here:
Meanwhile, on Thursday, the duo also shared cryptic posts on their respective social media handles. “God has protected me more times than I can count. So I can only image the times I’ve been rescued that I don’t even know about. Thank you, god for always being there even when I don’t know it. Amen,” Chahal wrote.
Dhanashree also posted, “From stressed to blessed. Isn’t amazing how God can turn our worries and trials to blessings? If you’re stressing about something today, know that you have a choice. You can either keep worrying or you can surrender it all to God and choose to pray about everything. There is power in having faith that God can work all things together for your good.”
