One cinema-related event that garnered the spotlight over the past few weeks is Aadar Jain’s wedding to Alekha Advani. After tying the knot in a Christian wedding in Goa, they got married in accordance with Hindu traditions in Mumbai this Friday. Pictures and videos of the stars graced the momentous occasion were shared online. While Aadar donned a white sherwani with an emerald necklace, Alekha wore a red lehenga with golden embroidery.
Some of the guests included Ranbir Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Karism Kapoor, Neetu Kapuor, Saif Ali Khan, Alia BhattAkash Ambani, Shloka Mehta, Anil and Tina Ambani, Nikhil and Agastya Nanda, Suhana Khan, Gauri Khan and Rekha.
The event was filled with a lot of warm moments that won the hearts of netizens. Take, for instance, Saif Ali Khan’s presence, which is his first big family event after the unfortunate stabbing incident at his residence earlier this year. While Kareena was her stunning self in an orange saree, Saif was at his regal best in a black sherwani. During the event, Saif was seen participating in the rituals as the brother-in-law of Aadar, the cousin of Kareena. It was an emotional moment for Kareena, on multiple levels, as her cousin was getting married, and her husband was back in the thick of things. Notably, Saif was absent for the roka function that had happened when he was recuperating from the incident.

And when the Kapoor khandaan in full attendance, there can be no paucity of entertainment. One such incident happened when Ranbir and Alia were posing for the shutterbugs at the event. When Ranbir was asked to stand for solo pictures, he instantly replied, “Pagal ho kya?” that left not just the paparazzi but Alia too in peals of laughter.

Another beautiful incident that added a touch of organic proceedings to the well-orchestrated event was when the bride and groom stepped out of the mandap to pose for photos. And in between the various clicks and flashes, Alekha had to take a break to sneeze before putting on the smiles for the cameras.
Aadar and Alekha also took to their Instagram handles to share photos from their the gift of the male sangeet ceremony. In a video from the event, we can see Karisma Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan getting mehendi, and another with Ranbir Kapoor grooving to Kajra Re.
Oh, and when there’s a wedding, there needs to be a cake, and there was a three-tiered one at their wedding. From the videos of the event, it is clear that Aadar and Alekha not just had the cake, but ate it too.
