Samay Raina drops a cryptic post amid the India’s Got Latent controversy.

Comedian Samay Raina is under the scanner for YouTuber Ranveer Allahabadia’s “sex with parents” remark on his show, India’s Got Latent. While both, Samay and Ranveer, have been facing legal complications because of their remarks, the former has now dropped a cryptic post on social media.

Samay Raina’s latest post was exclusive for his YouTube channel’s private subscribers. It consisted of a red heart and a hug emoji, as a silent answer to spread love and stay calm amid the chaos of the ongoing controversy. His post was liked by over seven thousand viewers online (at the time of publishing this report). Take a look:

For the unversed, Ranveer Allahbadia, who runs the popular YouTube channel BeerBiceps, appeared on India’s Got Latent show earlier this month. He asked a young contestant: “Would you rather watch your parents have sex every day for the rest of your life or join in once and stop it forever?” The question sparked outrage, with many condemning him for the alleged vulgarity. The video was then removed from YouTube after the intervention of the I&B Ministry and the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC).

Later, Samay also reacted to the controversy and wrote on X, “Everything that is happening has been too much for me to handle. I have removed all Indias Got Latent videos from my channel. My only objective was to make people laugh and have a good time. I will fully cooperate with all agencies to ensure their inquiries are concluded fairly. Thank you.”

Not just this, during his recent live gig in Canada, an emotional Samay addressed the controversy. He closed the night by saying, “Shayad samay kharab chal raha hai mera, par yaad rakhna doston, main samay hoon (Maybe my time is bad right now, but remember, my friends—I am time itself).”
