Vijayawada: Police registered several cases across the state in connection with morphing of deputy chief minister Pawan Kalyan’s photographs.
Based on complaints filed by Jana Sena leaders and activists, police initiated action against individuals accused of posting objectionable morphed images on social media. Cases were registered in Tirupati, Chittoor, Nellore, Bapatla, and Vijayawada for making derogatory comments, while a case was filed in Narasaraopet for posting morphed and objectionable content on Pawan. Vijayawada cybercrime inspector Gunram said four cases were registered for body shaming and posting objectionable comments online. Jana Sena activists condemned the misuse of their leader’s images .
